Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) – Eastern Complex deservedly won the shield for the best virtual experience for emergency response to vital facilities in Jubail Governorate, as part of the Jubail Emergency Committee \u201cJama\u2019a\u201d program for the year 2024 AD, according to a statement by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jubail Emergency Committee \u201cJama\u2019a\u201d, Eng. Nayef bin Ali Al-Qahtani, in which he explained that the Jubail Emergency Committee \u201cJama\u2019a\u201d implemented a program to follow up on fire and industrial disaster prevention plans for all members of the \u201cJama\u2019a\u201d from industrial companies and vital sectors operating in Jubail and Ras Al-Khair. 34 successful virtual experiments were conducted during 2024, and Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) – Eastern Complex won the Best Virtual Experiment for Emergency Response in Industrial Facilities Award for 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n The committee\u2019s shield was received by the company\u2019s Vice President for Manufacturing and Head of Subsidiary Companies, Eng. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Rashoud, in the presence of members of the management of Sipchem Eastern Complex and representatives of the Jubail Emergency Committee (Jama\u2019a).<\/strong><\/p>\n Engineer Khaled bin Hassan Khalil, CEO of the Committee, added that the safety of industrial facilities in Jubail Governorate is considered one of the most important factors for industrial growth and investment success. It is also considered one of the most important foundations for attracting local and international investments in the industrial sector in Jubail and Ras Al Khair. The committee works to create an industrial work environment that adheres to all safety and fire prevention instructions, which will positively impact the growth of these industries. Thus, raising the level of performance and production, considering that safety is a fundamental factor in the progress of these operations and one of their most important tributaries.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Jubail Area Mutual Aid Association (JAMA’A) is a volunteer committee concerned with responding to emergencies and combating and extinguishing fires and industrial disasters in Jubail and Ras Al Khair Industrial City. It was established in 1983 by the Supreme Commission for Industrial Security, SABIC and its subsidiaries, the Royal Commission, and Civil Defense to protect vital factories and industrial facilities in Jubail Governorate.
