Jubail Area Mutual Aid Association (JAMA’A) announced that it has obtained the international ISO 22320 certificate, which deals with the requirements for emergency management and incident response, in a qualitative achievement that reflects the committee’s commitment to applying the best global practices in the field of coordination and emergency response.
This certification is an international recognition of the committee’s ability to effectively manage incidents through the application of an integrated methodology based on clear roles and responsibilities, enhanced coordination among member entities, and ensuring efficient information exchange and decision-making during emergencies.
This achievement is the result of integrated efforts between committee members from various industrial and governmental sectors in Jubail Governorate, where joint training programs, periodic exercises, and the exchange of experiences contributed to raising the level of readiness and response.
The committee affirmed that obtaining this certificate enhances its role as a leading coordination platform to support emergency response, and contributes to protecting lives, property and the environment, in addition to supporting business continuity for member entities.
She also explained that this step marks the beginning of a new phase of continuous development, through capacity building, expanded cooperation, and a sustained commitment to improving performance in accordance with international standards.
The committee concluded its statement by emphasizing that this achievement would not have been possible without the support and participation of all members, and affirming the continuation of joint efforts to achieve the highest levels of safety and readiness in the face of various challenges.
